Production facilities of GC “AMIRA”:
- LLC “Amira-Stalkonstruktsiya” is a plant for the production of faceted steel lighting poles with a height of 3 to 50 meters. Location – Saint Petersburg. Productivity – up to 30,000 lighting poles per year. The thickness of the steel is up to 8mm.
- Megapolis LLC is a plant for the production of faceted steel and round conical lighting poles with a height of 3 to 100 meters. Location: Leningrad region, Tosnensky district. Productivity – up to 60,000 lighting poles per year. The thickness of the steel is up to 25 mm.
- LLC “Amira-Lighting Engineering” is a factory for the production of lamps, spotlights and metal structures. Location – Saint Petersburg. Capacity – up to 100,000 pcs. per year.
On June 30, 2015, the grand opening of the metalwork plant of Megapolis LLC took place.
Megapolis Metal Structures Plant LLC is a high-tech production focused on the production of long-length metal structures, including closed tubular profile.
The plant’s technology is based on high-performance presses with a force of 1000 and 2000 tons and a long working area of 12 and 14 meters, respectively. The technology and tools incorporated into the design of the presses allow bending of sheet steel up to 25 mm thick for the entire length of the working area. The technological lines of the presses include four welding lines for parts of a “round” – closed section up to 350 mm and allow to obtain a continuous seam at a length of 14 meters using two welding technologies: CO2 and submerged welding. Two larger welding lines provide welding diameters from 0.7 to 2.0 meters. The welding line for welding long tubular workpieces with a size of 2.0 meters is equipped with two burners and equipped with submerged welding technology with a lining electrode, which allows you to obtain a high-quality longitudinal seam on products made of thick-sheet metal. All technological operations are connected by a conveyor system with a mechanized removal and loading system.
On October 28, 2020, the second stage of the plant was inaugurated
The new workshop is designed for painting, finishing and packaging of finished metal structures. The building area is 3,000 sq.m, the construction volume is 41,000 m3. The record-size painting chamber, whose area is almost 600 sq.m., allows you to paint the entire line of products manufactured by the enterprise, thereby bringing to the market a product with a completely new level in the field of quality. First of all, due to the anti-corrosion protection of metal, which will extend the service life of structures for at least five years, as well as a fundamentally new aesthetic appearance of supports, which in turn are an integral part of the architectural solutions of city blocks, bridges and highways.
The introduced building will make it possible to transfer the metalwork plant to a round-the-clock operation, and therefore an increase in the output of finished products to approximately 30-35%, as well as attracting additional labor resources in the form of highly qualified specialists.
