On June 30, 2015, the grand opening of the third production site of the AMIRA group of companies, the Megapolis plant, took place.
The grand opening took place with the direct participation of the Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko. It was noted that this is the first such plant in the country in terms of technology, and it can provide the entire line of poles in demand in the market: from park 3-meter poles to powerful 105-meter masts and power transmission poles.
At the opening of the plant, many distinguished guests arrived, including from foreign countries and the CIS countries. Representatives of such organizations as PJSC Gazprom, Avtodor Group of Companies, Russian Railways OJSC, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of Russia, Rosseti OJSC, as well as the Government Committees of the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region attended. Everyone wished the new plant many new interesting orders, success and prosperity.
Five years later, Megapolis is commissioning a new workshop for paint, finishing and packaging the poles. The need for the construction of a new workshop is long overdue. Mastering and launching into production new types of high mast products with a diameter of up to 2000 mm and a length of up to 105 m, the plant inevitably encounters tonnage products, serious dimensions and not just treatment with an anti-corrosion compound, but with the application of paints and varnishes of various colors to give an aesthetic appearance with one side, and fulfilling the requirements of the joint venture on the other.
Among the completed projects of the plant: a 100-meter flagpole for Finland (the highest in Europe), a 50-meter flagpole on Poklonnaya hill, a 40-meter Aksai flagpole, 83 and 90-meter lightning protection systems for a plant for the production of polypropylene and ethylene in Tobolsk, as well as for Nord Stream-2, 39 -mast dual-purpose communication masts; pylons of urban lighting, including for the My Street project in Moscow; landscape gardening lighting, including Festival Boulevard in Kazan (object for the 2018 World Cup), reconstruction of the lighting of Sosnovka Park in St. Petersburg, masts for the airports of Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Chelyabinsk and much more.
ZMK Megapolis received a certificate of compliance with the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015 and STO Gazprom 9001: 2018. The plant’s products received certificates of GOST R, CE, EAC.
The staff of the AMIRA group of companies sincerely congratulates the staff of the Megapolis factory on a wonderful date! New achievements, friends!
