The annual quality competition is a tool for the step-by-step development and continuous improvement of the management system, increasing the competitiveness of companies. The experts evaluated the city’s enterprises according to the main criteria for the development of the quality management system. The criteria for the competition are largely based on the European Background for Quality Management (EFQM) Management Model, which are also used to evaluate applicants for the RF Government Prize in the Field of Quality.
We are glad that the AMIRA company received such a high assessment of its activities.
The St. Petersburg Government Quality Award was established in 2008 with the aim of encouraging enterprises to introduce highly effective methods of product and service quality management. Organizational, technical and information support for the competition is provided by the Federal State Budgetary Institution “State Regional Center for Standardization, Metrology and Testing in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region”.
The competition is held in two stages, at which enterprises conduct an independent analysis of the quality management system according to the proposed criteria, and an expert council evaluates the results with a visit to the site, if necessary.
