Works on the reconstruction of the airfield complex continue in Ufa airport, which are executed within the framework of preparation to the summit of countries-members of the Shanghai Organization for Cooperation and leaders of BRICS countries to be held in July 2015. Works for installation of equipment for lighting and maintenance of the tarmac, construction and upgrading of the patrol road, laying of communication and power supply networks have been going on, including the construction of six transformer substations.
AMIRA Group of Companies participated in the upgrading of the airport, high lighting towers VMO-20, VМО-25, VМО-30 were installed in the aircraft parking area.
Works are being executed in compliance with the federal targeted program Modernization of the Russian Transport System (2010-2020). Federal Agency for Air Transport is the state client of the project, Administration of Civil Airports (airfields) is the client-builder.
