On October 31, an interchange was opened ahead of schedule in Rostov-on-Don on the ninth kilometer of the A-280 Rostov-Taganrog highway. An important section connects the federal highway with the Northern Bypass and the Southern entrance to the city.
The transport interchange is an “incomplete clover leaf” and assumes the possibility of future docking with the planned Western Chord.
The work carried out to expand the highway to six lanes with transitional high-speed lanes for the exit to the Northern bypass of the city allowed to increase the capacity from 30 to 52 thousand cars per day and eliminate the source of accidents, Rosavtodor notes.
The AMIRA Group of Companies designed and delivered 240 octagonal OGK series lighting poles with brackets and foundations to the facility.
