35-meter flagpole by AMIRA in Novy Urengoy

On the square near the administration of the city of Novy Urengoy (Ural Federal District of the Russian Federation), a new urban dominant was installed – a 35-meter flagpole with the flag of the Russian Federation with an area of 118 sq.m.

The high-mast flagpole was produced in the AMIRA group of companies. The flagpole is a multi-faceted steel structure consisting of four sections of different cross-sections. Each section is made of sheet steel by bending, followed by hot-dip galvanizing and paint coating. Thanks to the telescopic connection, the flagpole sections fit snugly together. The design of the AMIR flagpoles is distinguished by the relatively small dimensions of the foundation, which is important for installation in the city, aesthetic appearance, long service life and a vertical illumination system.

Work on the arrangement of the foundation and the installation of a high-mast structure and vertical illumination was traditionally carried out by specialists of the Amira-Energomontazh company (AMIRA group of companies).

On July 27, the head of Novy Urengoy, Andrey Voronov, raised the national flag to a 35-meter height. To date, this is the largest flag of the Russian Federation in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.

We are proud to be a part of an important project!
