The Ety-Purovskoye oil field (PJSC “Gazprom”) is located near the city of Noyabrsk in the Yamalo-Nenets district. This is the largest field in Western Siberia.
The field is difficult to develop and has a heterogeneous structure. Now 11 wells have been built, incl. five more than three kilometers deep.
Lightning protection and lighting of the booster compressor station of the Ety-Purovskoye field are provided by 40-meter lightning rods based on high-mast poles with a stationary crown (VGN series).
VGN series masts consist of several metal sections obtained from sheet metal by bending. All sections are treated with hot zinc and painted. The masts meet safety requirements, are manufactured taking into account the climatic conditions of the area and are capable of withstanding heavy loads.
To date, the tallest masts in this series – 90 meters – have been installed at the Tobolsk plant.
