Construction of the new airport terminal in St. Petersburg started as far back as 2011. Establishing an integrated modern airport ensemble is the main goal of the reconstruction. The project consists of the terminal, adjoining territory and the highway approaching the airport. The cost of project implementation is 1.2 bln euros.
For this project specialists of the company AMIRA lead by Technical Director V.G. Kharkov suggested new poles and lighting fixtures for outdoor lighting which ideally fit the general design. 113 OGKLI-11 poles and lighting fixtures ZhKU 30N-250-001 are installed along the highway from Pulkovskoe Highway to airport square. The parking lot next to the airport is lit using 24 high masts VMO-20.
This highway is of significant importance for St. Petersburg residents, because it is a “poster card” for the guests of the city.
