During his working visit to the Tosno District, the Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko solemnly opened the second stage of the Megapolis plant (AMIRA Group). Opening ceremony of a new building with an area of 3000 sq.m. and the same open area, was held with the participation of guests of honor from the Government of the region, the economic development agency, as well as leading companies of St. Petersburg and the region.
During the visit, the governor inspected a new workshop designed for painting, finishing and packaging finished metal structures. The building area is 3,000 square meters, the construction volume is 41,000 m3. The spraying booth of a record size, with an area of almost 600 square meters, allows painting the entire line of products manufactured by the enterprise, thereby bringing to the market a product with a completely new level of quality. First of all, due to the anti-corrosion protection of the metal, which will extend the service life of the structures by at least five years, as well as a fundamentally new aesthetic appearance of the supports, which in turn are an integral part of the architectural solutions of city blocks, bridges and highways.
“I am grateful for the quality of the lihting poles that the company has, and, of course, for the fact that the company today adequately represents the industry of the Leningrad region not only in the Russian Federation, but also abroad. Thank you very much, I hope we will open the third stage!” Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region
The commissioned building will make it possible to transfer the metal structures plant to a round-the-clock operating mode, and, consequently, an increase in the output of finished products by approximately 30-35%, as well as attracting additional labor resources in the form of highly qualified specialists.
“It is very important for me when an investor decides to expand an existing production. This means that he is comfortable, he is satisfied with everything and he is ready to develop further in our region, in the Leningrad region. I am grateful for the quality of the supports that the company has, and, of course, for the fact that the company today adequately represents the industry of the Leningrad region not only in the Russian Federation, but also abroad. ” Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region
The commissioning of the new workshop is due, among other things, to the quality requirements of our main consumers in the oil and gas industry (Gazprom, Rosneft, Sibur, etc), municipal services (urban, decorative and architectural lighting), as well as non-standard metal structures (for example, the 50-meter entrance stele “MOSCOW”, installed at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road and Varshavskoye Shosse).
In honor of the opening of the second stage, the state flag of the Russian Federation was raised on the 50-meter flagpole (the first in the line of high-mast flagpoles produced at the Megapolis plant five years ago).
