On November 30, the workers’ movement on the Exchange Bridge was launched in St. Petersburg. Reconstruction works have been carried out since last year. Considering that the repair work was carried out 60 years ago, it was necessary to almost completely dismantle the bridge, replace the reinforced concrete and metal structures of the roadway, increase the sidewalks, replace lighting and the contact network. The work in the part of the divorce mechanism will be completed by the summer of 2023.
The manufacture of supports and lamps for the renovated bridge was entrusted to the AMIRA group of companies, which had previously been engaged in the reconstruction of lighting on the Palace and Liteyny Bridges, the Swan and Winter Grooves at the Hermitage. For the Exchange Bridge, the company’s specialists have developed 16 lighting complexes decorated with cast-iron elements.
