On 3d September, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, the flag of the Russian Federation was raised on a 75-meter flagpole made by AMIR in Blagoveshchensk on the banks of the Amur river.
The flagpole was installed on the main square of the city, opened after reconstruction. Large-scale modernization of the area. Lenin also included the creation of a comfortable pedestrian zone, additional landscaping, as well as the construction of a fountain complex. The 75-meter flagpole, located on the same axis with the building of the Government of the Amur Region and the avenues of the fountains, will be perfectly visible from any point on the embankment.
“For me, this is not only a commercial project, but also a personal one. My grandfather, Saramud Vasily Filippovich, fought on the Far Eastern Front, where he met the September Victory. I am proud that such a symbol made by our group of companies appeared in Blagoveshchensk and we were able, thus, to express our gratitude and pay tribute to the memory of all who fought for the Motherland “– said the general director of AMIRA JSC Andrey Saramud
The group of companies “AMIRA” is already a recognized expert in the production and installation of such metal structures. The design of the high-mast flagpole is a multi-faceted conical mast consisting of several steel sections, which are joined together by means of a telescopic interference fit. The sections are made of 09G2S sheet steel by bending. Corrosion protection is carried out by hot-dip galvanizing (GOST 9.307-89.) Followed by paint coating.
Due to the small dimensions of the foundation, the flagpole does not look bulky, but at the same time it is made with a sufficient margin of safety. An electric launching mechanism can easily raise the flag (25 x 16.6 m) to a predetermined height, and an installed anemometer will lower the flag if the wind is too strong.
The full video of assembling the flagpole and raising the flag will appear in the Videos section in the near future
Recall that among the installed flagpoles of the company:
- Hamina (Finland) – 100 meters
- Moscow, Poklonnaya Gora – 50 meters
- entrance to Aksai (Rostov region) – 40 meters
- e. Bench, border with Estonia – 25 meters
- Samara Arena stadium – 16-meter flagpoles (32 pcs.) with the flags of the countries participating in the 2018 FIFA World Cup
Each design of the flagpole is unique and is made individually, taking into account the peculiarities of the relief of the installation area, wind loads, the size of the flag, and other parameters.
